LATE ARRIVAL AT JOY
Keep your normal morning schedule on Thursday Late Arrival Days.
On Thursday, September 17 and Thursday, September 24, parents can drop their Woodcreek Middle School student off at Joy Summerwood at 7:45 a.m. just like a normal school morning—We’ll take it from there.
Students will enjoy a free pancake breakfast, music, games, and an interactive Bible study where they’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, join the conversation, and explore Scripture together.
Then, at 9:30 a.m., our leaders will walk the students safely across the field to Woodcreek Middle School so they arrive when the school doors open at 9:45 a.m.
Dates: September 17 & September 24
Drop-off: 7:45 a.m. at Joy Summerwood
School arrival: 9:45 a.m. at Woodcreek Middle School
7:45–8:30 a.m. Drop-off & Pancake Breakfast
8:30–9:30 a.m. Activities & Bible Study
9:30-9:45 a.m. Walk to School
What the Morning Looks Like
We know Thursday Late Arrival Days can create a real challenge for working families. Instead of rearranging your workday or finding another place for your student to go, you can bring them to Joy at the normal time and know they’ll have breakfast, have some fun, spend time with caring adults and other students, and get to school on time.
Why Late Arrival at Joy?
Late Arrival at Joy is free, but pre-registration and a completed parent/guardian waiver are required.
